From west to east or the other way round, on a walk by the sea to explore the woods in the mountain heart of the island and be back to the Hotel for lunch. We will get to the Monte Arci and skirt it in a sw-ne direction, looking at it while the Tour Guide tells us about its history and interesting stories. We will soon reach the foot of the Monte Grighine, but will skirt it northward to visit the ruins of the Roman Thermal Baths of the ancient town of Forum Traiani (nowadays Fordongianus) on the banks of the River Tirso. Next stop will be the small village Allai with its prehistoric origins, self-evident in the various megalithic Menhir and Nuraghe, whose urban structure is still authentic, rich in typical homes “case campidanesi” built with volcanic stones. Here we will discover Sardinian history first-hand. We will be close to our trekking destination and the start of our path. Just 673 meters above the sea level, no real steep slopes, luxuriant, fresh and humid woods, so close, but so incredibly distant from anthropized urban environments. We will enjoy marvellous landscapes over the whole province, Monte Arci, Giara di Gesturi, Montiferru, Gennargentu. We will walk through a moderate difficulty, clean and visible path. The ground may be somewhere uneven with some loose stones. A Sardinia you won’t expect.
Da ovest ad est e viceversa, per andare, dal mare, ad esplorare i boschi nel cuore montano dell’isola di Sardegna, e rientrare entro l’ora di pranzo in Villaggio. Giunti alle pendici del Monte Arci, lo aggireremo in direzione sw-ne, scrutandolo mentre la Guida ce ne racconterà la storia e le curiosità. In breve saremo sulle pendici del Monte Grighine, ma lo aggireremo da nord, per andare a vedere i resti delle terme Romane della cittadina di Forum Traiani (oggi Fordongianus) sulla sponda del fiume Tirso. Da qui la tappa successiva è il piccolo borgo di Allai, cittadina di indiscusse origini preistoriche, evidente dai vari e megalitici Menhir e Nuraghi, che oggi conserva una urbanistica ancora autentica, fatta di piccole case campidanesi dai muri in pietra lavica. Da qui sicuramente passa la storia del popolo sardo. Saremo ad un passo dalla vera destinazione in cui andare a camminare ed in breve raggiungeremo il punto di partenza del nostro trekking. Solo 673 metri di altezza massima sul livello del mare, una morfologia poco acclive, ma boschi umidi, freschi e rigogliosi, vicini ma incredibilmente distanti dai luoghi più antropizzati. Panorami mozzafiato su tutto l’oristanese, sul Monte Arci, sulla Giara di Gesturi, sul Montiferru, sul Gennargentu. Sentieri puliti e ben percorribili, con livello di difficoltà media. Il fondo potrà a tratti essere puntualmente sconnesso, a causa di scoramenti o per la presenza di pietrame mobile. La Sardegna che non ti aspetti.
De ouest à et vice versa, pour aller, de la mer, et explorer les forêts dans le cœur montagneux de l’ile de Sardaigne, et rentrer pour midi au Resort. Arrivés aux pieds du Monte Arci, on le contournera en direction sud west-nord est, en le scrutant pendent que la Guide nous en raccontera l’histoire et les curiosités. En très peu de temps, on sera aux pieds du Mont Grighine, mais on le contournera du nord, pour aller visiter les restes des Termes Romaines du village de Forum Traiani (aujourd’hui Fordongianus) sur les rives du fleuve Tirso. D’ici, l’étape prochaine est le petit bourg de Allai, village d’indiscutable origine préhistorique, évident dés différents et mégalithiques Menhir et Nuraghi, qu’aujourd’hui garde une urbanistique encore authentique, constituée de petites maisons campidanaises en pierres de lave. D’ici passe surement l’histoire du peuple sarde. On sera très près de la vraie destination où marcher et rapidement on rejoindra le point de dèpart de notre trekking. Seulement 673 mètres d’hauteur maximal sur le niveau de la mer, une morphologie peu en montée, mais forets humides, fraiches et verdoyants, près ma incroyablement loin des lieux plus anthropisés. Panoramas à couper le souffle sur la province de Oristano, sur le Mont Arci, sur la Giara de Gesturi, sur le Montiferru et le Gennargentu. Sentiers propres et bien praticables, avec un niveau de difficulté moyens. Le fond pourra parfois être incertain à cause des pierres ou du passage de la pluie. La Sardaigne que tu n’imagines pas.
Heute wandern Sie durch dichte Wälder und abgelegene Ortschaften und erleben atemberaubende Ausblicke über ganz Oristano, Monte Arci, Giara di Gesturi, Montiferru und Gennargentu. Nach einer etwa halbstündigen Busfahrt erreichen Sie heute zunächst den erloschenen Vulkan Monte Arci und lassen sich dort bei einer Umrundung von den jahrhundertealten Steineichen verzaubern. Sehen Sie die vielen schwarzen Steine entlang der Wege? Das Vulkangestein Obsidian war nicht nur bereits für die Phönizier ein wichtiger Werkstoff, sondern vielmehr brachte es die Region zu der Bekanntheit und dem Wohlstand von heute. Über lange Anstiege und vorbei an atemberaubenden Landschaften lernen Sie die Geschichte der Region kennen, immer begleitet von einer kühlen Brise des Mittelmeers. Anschließend fahren Sie zu den Hängen des Monte Grighine. Bei der Rundwanderung besichtigen Sie die Überreste der römischen Thermen in der Stadt Forum Traiani (heute Fordongianus) am Ufer des Tirso, bevor Sie weiter in das Dorf Allai wandern. In dem kleinen sardischen Dorf können Sie noch Menhire aus Basalt oder Granit und traditionelle Häuser mit Lavasteinwänden bewundern. Im Anschluss erreichen Sie wieder den Ausgangspunkt Ihrer Wanderung. Die Rückkehr zum Hotel erfolgt zur Mittagszeit.
